RECOPELACION

S.Y. 2018-2019
BS Accountancy

In the first six years of my life, I was raised single-handedly by my mother.  I vividly remember how difficult it was for her, especially when I got critically ill and there was no money for medication.  My father’s family did not accept us then, so there was no support coming from that side of our family.

Growing up, this drove me to be so determined to excel. Kung mahirap ka, hindi ka talaga mapapansin. (If you’re poor, you will really get overlooked.) So, you have to stand out. Dapat excellent ka. (You have to be excellent.)

It takes patience, perseverance, and faith to reach our goal. Whatever situation we are in, we were put there for a good reason. Every shortcoming we face positions us for opportunities. Even our failures are opportunities to learn. The rejections and the lessons we take from them can open new doors for us.
